HOW LEADERS BEHAVE

Some body whom  people follow,or who is directing others is called a leader , if we are saying directing that means going to meet changes e.g , development that are not since experienced in the area,experiencing a different way of leading the community and others but most of leaders misuse their duty by just torturing their followers that they are saying unacheiverble ideas, they also think that the ideas from poor citizens are the same as their situation, which is not true.

Although they know that human beings are equal but most of leader weigh their followers using what they receive forgo ting that a leader is nothing without followers, not only that leaders also don't care somebody's rights due to un respecting them as their bosses .

Other leaders they are low in their thinking , this is so because they believe that when their follower came to their residence to seek for help  then they think are doing better whilst it's them who stay down and say every one have right to receive development , why they did't say every one have got rights to berg.

It's pains to hear that most of our leaders make hypocritical commitments yet what comes out is parallel to what is on the ground . most of leaders hide aside government but what we know is that government release funds that goes straight in your pockets and used for individual leaving communities suffering and at the end what we are seeing it's only corruption,your mansions.

Leaders also just continuing enjoying on top of our taxes  by sending their children in high school leaving those for the poor learning under the tree, studying in dim light rooms yet you are criticizing the students from the poor side that they don't work hard, how can expect distinction in the above condition?

concerned people must come to our sense to fight the indecent leadership system . we must be united and be on anti hill to fight for free from having leaders that are sending   us again to old systems of leading.

EARLYMARRIAGE CAN BE OVERCOME D

Teen-age pregnant  become a problem in our community, as children just get married while they are young , this problem led to loss of life to those children that are ran into the situation and indeed make their parents to being pointing fingers to their neighbors that they are practicing wish craft without seeing that they are dropping into the situation them selves but not only other they use to blame doctors that they are not committing their work due to die of young pregnant women without knowing that its the careless of their children.

It is not a story that we can say aside, because a lot of family are now in poverty due to early marriage. this makes to prove that the situation brings a lots of problems in most communities like having operations , also contribute to a certain disease known as fistula .

Although we are concerned with the situation but they are some kind of behavior that led a lot of children to being run into the condition these are like practicing of some traditional beliefs that makes the young ladies to being exposed to get married and also some relatives that advise these young girls and boys wrong,

As the thing is as they ,according to my view  the early marriage is not being supported at any cost because the drawback accompanied are very drastic,

Their are a lots of disadvantages of getting marriage while you are young and some of these are lacking understanding ,difficulties in dedicating ,lacking of compatibility and difficult in finances not only that, the health care and education chances also lowers

  But we can overcome this condition , so what is needed is to display the laws that are say how marriage it could be and making sure that those laws are indeed working on the one misuse it, not only that also we need to manipulate some cultural beliefs that contribute to early marriage like kusasa fumbi and the likes . we should also display the history of some hillos so that children should not lacking their role models .

Politician put children lives on Danger

Life    is not the same at Mkoma  Healthy centre, As human Rights are being violated. Mkoma Healthy Centre beneficiaries worried of unhygienic conditions of the unroofed guardian shelter which now stands in ruins due to some uncaring politicians who are the main cause of the problem. The Primary aim was to win the voters trust so that they  are voted  in to office  in 2014 tripartite elections, the candidate of Member of Parliament decided to impress people by promising them that he will renovate the Shelter but all this came to the a nightmare when he lost elections and decided to abandon the renovation project incomplete . Rights to  good shelter is being  violated as the situation  worsened by the rains, making it leaking  and hence breeding ground to mosquitos  and prone to water borne  diseases.  The situation makes a hospital a place  to contract diseases and not to cure.                                                                                 

The incidence now is pathetic since most users are pregnant women whom are already wick to fight against foreign diseases since the immune system is in this case low. The scenario gives an infringement   to right to life as the diseases kill them innocently.                                                                                                                              

As if not enough the fortune seekers called politicians are failing to normalize the situation because the ones who unroofed the structure did not succeed for office. Citizens still have unanswered questions to whether their leader values their views and cares for their lives. The only thing the leaders care is only in times of campaign and not life of the people who in voting period  are regarded as important just to win the polls.                                                                                                                                                  

I think it is the right time for people to know  their  rights and make sure they are not violated as above.  In as far as one is a human , Right to life , to good shelter  and medication are the most needed because they  complement to  life . The leaders are servants of the people. As it is in the democratic governed  society must be governed by the collective view of people.                

The Mzimba  South ward , Mkoma  healthy Centre  Citizens questions  still remains  un answered ,  if  really our  leaders  join  to serve the  interest  of us.  Citizens  would  not  be left  suffering  at the healthy  center  cooking  and sleeping  in a leaking  unroofed  shelter  because of  the  villains who join politics just  make  their  pockets at large.  I don’t know  if  we   can achieve  zero  deaths to infants  and pregnant  mothers  when  the kin  leaders  are  thorns  in the  flesh  of the people  whom  later are needed  as voters .  It’s   time to fight  for  those  kinds  of  leaders  till they  know   the  truth.  In this case he healthy  Centre  is a place  to  contract  diseases  and not to cure. 

However our activista group have made efforts to discuss with the health committee which said in the meeting held between Activistas the councilor and Health center committee the government only maintains the health center not the Guardian shelter.

The councilor pushed much of the blame to the MP which left us wondering what kind of a community leader is he. We however pushed to hold the person responsible for the damage accountable and open a case against him at the same time advocate for solidarity between all stake holders to solve the problem as It is a reflex action.

Bad leaders must go

Leadership it’s the process of social influence in which a person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common cause , but am talking about leadership of organizing a group of people to achieve a common which is not practiced in our community due to the bad behavior of our leaders  and these behavior s it’s like undermining citizens views, they don’t know their functions , they are not vision and they are not accountable which is not needed in democratic way of governing .

In my observation community leaders are intelligent but they are lacking wisdom to lead the community due to their reaction when they commit problem, they mostly react as they know everything forgetting that they are put by votes from the citizens, and not only they like to forget their duties and the reason of being a leader that is their by chosen  with the citizens and also instead of bringing development in the community they like to bring poverty .

As the thing are they , way forward the community will ever get development due to keeping leaders that are blind , have no  vision, don’t know their duty , not accountable and not following the principle of democratic government .   The only solution we can make to develop the community  it’s to remove all leaders that are not following the rules of democratic government ,those with dead minds should also go and those they don’t know their duty because they kills the community vision.

The first day of 2015 when people all over the world were celebrating the New year in different ways but deep down in the worm heart of Africa, northern region of the country at a small community called Kanjuchi in Mzimba district we were celebrating of New year by promoting human Rights through sports.

Soccer is one of the main entertainment that youths can enjoy in the community thus through sport Activista Tideco took a chance to campaign against early marriages, back to school campaign and have a dialogue with the local Councilor addressing issues that affect them.

Before the clash of the 4 youth teams approximately 150 youths were involved in the dialogue with the councilor and were interested in reading out massages that have been displayed by the activistas.

There were three soccer games played during the day and the winners walked away with K8000 as a grand prize. The atmosphere was filled with excitement of the festive season and energy of youths which resulted to songs resonating from the ground to the whole Kanjuchi and attracted a lot of people around the community.

With great inspiration the Activistas are looking forward to move big ships to contribut to Democracy, Transparency, Accontability, Gender equality and mostly unite to end povery.

History of Activista Tideco

The group established on 14 February 2014,during the establishment the group has got 16 members. The group was developed by Action Aid but through CBO known as Tipone Development Organisation situated in the northern region of Malawi the community called kanjuchi.

 In March 2014 a lot members join the group and the number of members increased up to 60 then everything was working, but the group were not independent as it was still and affiliate of Tideco.

 AIMS OF ESTABLISHING THE GROUP

·         To gather all youth in the community so that they can discus their problems and coming up with solutions (those of 15 to 30 year old).

·         To bring social change in the community.

·         To display the rights of human being.

·         To promote the coalition of youths in the community.

Achievements

·         have stopped child labour.

·         reduce early marriage in the community.

·         Influenced school drop outs to be back to school.

·         Conducted a human rights campaign through sports

·         Promoting accountability
